Whether it’s a birth certificate, a marriage certificate or a licence for the commercial transport of goods – certificates are among the most important documents in the private and business sectors. For this reason, in most cases they require a certified translation.

If documents have to be presented to the authorities within Germany, they require a certified translation by a sworn translator in Germany. The translator confirms the accuracy and completeness of the translation with an official stamp and signature. In international cases, an apostille or over-certification of the translation is often required in addition to the certification by the translator.
